Happy almost Spring! While this weather is trying to tease us, the warmth is coming! And that means time to get our butts moving again, whether it’s at the gym or outdoors. Remember your New Years resolutions? How are those coming? It’s time for another Motivational Monday post!

We are constantly on the go over here at VGB so I always keep my gum handy because chewing Orbit Gum can help keep your wellness goals on track by minimizing mindless snacking throughout the day (which I’m usually guilty of if I have nothing to chew).  Plus, it’s a flavorful treat with only 5-10 calories per serving. Boom! A key part of health and wellness is all about seeking balance through mindful consumption.  To keep things fun, our workouts have to be packed full of energy to get us through the day!  I know I always keep my gym bag in the car so I can get in my workout no matter what!  Obviously keep a change of clothes, but I also pack my makeup removing wipes, evian water misting spray, headband / sweatband to keep my hair back, towel, Orbit Gum, and water bottle! I love chewing gum during my workout so I’m not stopping to drink water every 5 seconds.  Orbit® sugarfree gum is available in a variety of flavors including Spearmint, Peppermint, Wintermint, Bubblemint, Strawberry, Citrus, Sweet Mint and Orbit White just to name a few, but I’m a fan of the peppermint!

To help keep you motivated we’ve put together an amazing flat belly workout and baller playlist to keep you going! Do this each day to help tone your belly. Add in some cardio for even faster results.  If you’re comfortable with the following workout try adding a 2-3 mile run, hot yoga, tennis, bike ride, or whatever extra cardio you prefer. Don’t forget to use this playlist to keep your momentum and intensity going!

  • I love a wide range of music when I work out. I am surprised that you chew gum when working out. I don’t and can’t seem to manage anything more complicated that breathing and drinking water at the same time! LOL. Everybody is different though and I once had an instructor that chewed gum all the while working out and exclaiming everything Perfect. Nice enough lady but the Perfect perfect stuff got to me after a while.

    • lol definitely check out the playlist! I love finding new music to workout to!

  • This is great! I just started a low carb way of life today and this will be a workout that I can include for a flatter belly. Thanks so much for the motivation! I needed that! I need to create a playlist for sure. I like to listen to XM radio – the message while I work out.

  • OK, as a fitness freak and a marathin runner I can’t see how chewing gum helps to stop snacking. Its all down to will power at the end of the day. The gum has sugar and if you get the sugar free ones it has a different substance in it, so not good either which totally sucks as I used to love gum. But the workout plan for the flat belly….great one! Usually do all this sort of stuff when I am traveling and then leave the hardcore workouts for when I am at home. Great post 🙂

    • Well it helps me because sometimes I snack because I’m bored and chewing gum helps keep me busy so I don’t think about eating. My will power is obviously not as strong as yours. lol Thanks for the feedback and for reading! 🙂

  • What a great workout plan! I love things that I can do either at home when I can’t make it to the gym .. or while i’m traveling. Anything for a flatter belly is a winner in my book!

  • What a solid playlist and workout. This is perfect for those days after work when I don’t want to make it all the way to the gym and deal with the crowd. Instead I can turn this playlist on and get a nice workout at home. Today being a prime example haha.

  • Wow, this is an awesome work out. Reminds me that I need to get back at it. I can’t believe how fast weight comes back and easy it is to fall back into bad habits. This is inspiring.

  • This post is so inspirtational. Thanks for the workouts you mentioned I need some spicing up to do with my same old boring work out. Also I love you included playlist. I need new beats to work out at. Thank you so much 😀
