Pro travel hack – the easiest way to lug less, pack more, and never pay baggage fees

Want to lug less but still pack a lot of things? If you love traveling will all your best clothes, but don't want to carry heavy luggage and pay baggages fees, there's a way! On this post, I share my top pro travel hack to travel with less but more at the same time! #Travel

This is my new favorite company and an amazing workaround to avoid airline baggage fees and shipping fees. It’s my number one travel hack! If you don’t haul your bags to the airport, you never worry about packing too much again. I’m amazed at how it works and how easy it is. Lugless ships golf clubs, skis, snowboards, boxes, luggage, etc. You can ship to school or to your destination. My personal favorite is for multiple-stop trips with different climates.

This is how I mainly use lugless. Every year we visit San Francisco and Hawaii. Both have extremely different climates and for our family of 3, we have to pack totally different outfits. But carrying around all that luggage through the airport when I’m a travel blogger and used to only traveling with a carry-on is not for me. Especially since we travel with sweet Colt baby now and all of his stuff. This is where lugless comes in. I pack one suitcase with our Hawaii clothes and one suitcase with our SF clothes. I use Lugless to ship the Hawaii suitcase to that destination and take the SF suitcase to the airport. When we’re packed up and ready to leave SF I use lugless to drop off that suitcase at a UPS where it ships to either my parent’s house or my house (you can set the date of arrival which makes it super easy) and we head to the airport luggage free! Our Hawaii luggage is waiting for us when we arrive.

It is seriously the easiest and most convenient service I’ve found. This post is not sponsored, I’m just that hype about it. Skip the stress of baggage and ship your luggage. Finally, luggage shipping for the price of a checked bag. I’m just an all-around fan of them and hope you enjoy this workaround!

How Lugless works

Ship your luggage, skis, boards, clubs – all of your stuff – with us.

We can all agree that dragging luggage around is awful in almost every way. If you’re wondering how to ship luggage, LugLess has made it easy and affordable. We let you ship on your terms by giving you options, and we also make sure you pay nowhere near what everyone else pays. Here’s how it works:

1. Print labels

Bags aren’t very smart, so each one will need a shipping label attached in order to get it to its destination. We provide you with a shipping label, and you print it out. You must securely attach it to your bag and place a copy of the label inside your bag just in case. Your bag is going to be traveling far and wide, and your label is your ticket!

2. Send bags

Now you need to get your luggage to UPS or FedEx depending on which labels you have. We’ll suggest several nearby drop-off locations but you can use any location that is convenient. Or, you can utilize an existing pickup at your office or most hotels. You can also pay for a pick-up at your home, work, or hotel during booking. You can drop your luggage off early or late, but that will probably affect the delivery date.

3. Travel light

This is the “travel without baggage” part. Head to the airport. Track your LugLess shipment from anywhere. We’ll notify you when your luggage arrives. If you do have any questions regarding your shipment status, it is more efficient to contact our carriers directly. They have 24/7 support for any shipping-related questions!

4. Arrive relaxed

UPS or FedEx will deliver the luggage directly to your destination address and you get to skip the dreaded baggage claim. If you will not be available to accept your luggage, there are other luggage delivery options. Please be sure to notify our carriers if you have any special delivery instructions such as security codes.

Pretty cool huh!? I’m obsessed.

The other way I use lugless is for shipping. I’ve found that lugless shipping is way cheaper than UPS or USPS so when I have a big box to ship out I use lugless. I shipped a suitcase filled with goodies out the other day using lugless to save a bunch of money.

They also have insurance plans that offer guarantees, support, and insurance up to $700.  But I love that regardless, each one offers doorstep delivery with an optional hold for pickup. Pretty sweet!

I hope you enjoyed my lifehack to lug less to the airport and traveling light!
