Exploring the Alhambra
Two words that are synonymous with Granada are tapas and Alhambra. There was so much amazing food everywhere we went in Spain, and I ate all of it! Some of the best food was definitely in Granda. It’s one of the last true remaining tapas towns where you get a snack with every drink you order. Granada is perfect place for a tapas crawl because there are endless options.

After walking around and getting your fill of tapas (at least for the time being) head up the hill for what you really came to see, the Alhambra. This massive Moorish fortress and palace is definitely worth a full day of exploring to take in all the beauty and detail. I’ll let the pictures below do the talking. Enjoy!
We spent several hours exploring the grounds, gardens, and multiple buildings which were all amazing! After all that walking we definitely needed a break and headed over to the San Nicolas area across from the Alhambra for amazing views and more tapas. The views of Alhambra were absolutely breathtaking especially when paired with a glass of Rose!

Granada is a beautiful, unique town with amazing food and things to see! The hostel we stayed in, The Nest, was amazing with great views of the city. Check out my thoughts on what staying in a hostel is really like here.
The Alhambra is truly a sight to behold and will leave you completely in awe. Definitely make sure you include this masterpiece in your travel agenda!
