21 Photos To Inspire You To Visit The Neon Museum in Las Vegas, Nevada
There are so many things to do in Las Vegas! It’s one of my favorite places in the US. There’s something to do for everyone. I’ve been to Vegas several times this year and have been dying to go to the Neon Museum. It’s been on my list for quite some time so I was so pumped when Lacey Leanos decided to join me! She scooped me up from my hotel and we headed to The Neon Museum.
It does book up because it’s such a photogenic place so make sure to book in advance. You can select several times on the website. Keep in mind it’s hot in Vegas so you may not want to go during the middle of the day. Also think about the time of day you want to shoot and where the shadows will be in your photos. I’d try to go early in the morning or the last tour of the day.
Once you get there you are essentially in a guided walking tour around the property in groups of 10 or so. You get to learn a ton about the history of where the neon signs came from which is pretty cool. To get the best shots, try to hang near the back so no one is in your photo. If you’re not the last tour of the day there will be another tour 20 min after yours so don’t dilly dally getting your photos. Granted you’re not allowed to do a full fledge photo shoot but if it’s just you and your photographer or someone taking pictures of you, it’s totally fine. Have so much fun!
