My bucket list this year is to visit every Caribbean island so I’ve made it my mission and have loved exploring each island. I love the Caribbean because it’s close to the US so it’s a quick flight, affordable, they have bright blue and crystal clear waters, and have that tropical feel that just makes you feel like you’re on vacation.
Curacao has been on my list for a while so I’m so glad I was able to visit! My husband and I went in March for our babymoon and it was perfect. We rented a car and explored half of the island to the fullest, It was a blast. I felt like we got to see and do a lot. From the Blue Curacao tasting experience to visiting pigs on the beach, there is so much to see and do on this small little island. I’ve put together my top 10 things to do in Curacao and even included a printable checklist for you. So pack your bags and get ready to visit Curacao!
Pro Tip: Curacao is one of the ABC islands so if you can, I’d recommend visiting Aruba and Bonaire while you’re in the area. The island hopper flights are pretty inexpensive and it’s worth it to visit those two!

Floating market in Willemstad
This lively market is the go-to spot to get fresh fruits! Wooden boats all dock alongside the canal and vendors sell. It’s best to go early in the morning before the crowds arrive.
Curacao sign
No trip to Curacao is complete without taking a photo of the colorful Curacao sign in Willemstad. You can also grab a picture of the Dushi sign while you’re here!
Queen Emma Bridge
Curacao’s most emblematic landmark! It’s a great spot to grab a cup of coffee and get amazing views of Willemstad’s skyline and boats sailing through the open arm of the bridge!
Blue Curacao Experience
Set in Punta, the most beautiful area of Willemstad, the Blue Curacao Experience is an interactive tour that takes you through the world of Curacao’s famous orange liquor!
Kokomo Beach
Kokomo Beach club is the perfect spot in Curacao to wind down between sightseeing. It offers a beach swing which is one of Curacao’s most instagramable spots!
Salina Sint Marie
Next up is a stop at Salina Sit Marie, a salt lagoon in Curacao a few miles north of Willemstad which is famous for being a favorite hang out spot for flamingos!
Porto Marie beach
Porto Marie is one of the best beaches in Curacao. Soft white sand and calm, crystal-clear waters offer a perfect place to relax, snorkel, or grab a bite at the restaurants that line the beach. If you’re into hiking, there are three nature trails starting at the beach’s parking lot!
Playa Lagun
A cove amid rocky cliffs set in the west end of the island. Playa Lagun is a top snorkeling spot and one of the best places in Curacao to find green sea turtles!
Laguna Blou Resort
Another great spot to unwind in Curacao! If you love snorkeling or diving, the beach at Laguna Blou Resort is nestled on a cliff and has an amazing array of sea life living under its waves – from colorful fish to turtles and seahorses!
Playa Forti
Feeling adventurous? Head over to Playa Forti, where those who love adrenaline jump off Curacao’s famous 10-meter cliff! People sit at the restaurant all day to have a bevvy and watch the jumpers. You can also get a pretty great view from the beach below!
