Spring Beauty Haul
The official first day of Spring, March 20th is only days away! Is anyone else as excited as I am that winter is almost over and warm weather will be here to stay? To shake off any remaining winter blues and prep for warm weather I needed one thing…..a beauty haul.

I’ll admit it, I can easily spend hours browsing and trying products at beauty counters and stores like Sephora and Ulta. Beauty shopping can be extremely overwhelming if you go in without a game plan. Before a shopping trip, I try to spend some time going through my current makeup bag to see what I could replace.
*Warning, I am definitely a product junkie. I love to try different products and always get at least one new thing every trip. Because I try a wide variety of brands and products, if I don’t love something after one to two uses, I return it and look for something else. I refuse to settle for anything less than love for my makeup!
After making my want list, I do some research to find products I want to try in store. I like to save up all my beauty emails and browse through them before a trip. I also follow a variety of makeup brands on social media in order to stay in the know on new products and note which ones I want to try on my next trip.Just like the actual store, beauty websites can be overwhelming. The difficult thing about reading most reviews on beauty sites is you only get people who feel very strongly, either negatively or positively that write reviews. I mean think about it, when was the last time you reviewed something you just felt was mehhh?
Most importantly, I also check with my other product junkie friends to see what they are currently loving or were disappointed with. I know everyone doesn’t have the time or patience to do all the research I do, that’s why I’m here to share my findings and hopefully minimize beauty shopping stress!
