Our Stay at Hotel Indigo Mount Pleasant

While Hotel Indigo is a chain, it’s more of a boutique hotel as each one is different. I loved staying at this Hotel Indigo because of the close proximity to downtown Mount Pleasant and downtown Charleston. The staff was incredibly friendly and we received such a warm welcome. I loved the decor of the hotel. There are navy and pink accents throughout that give it a very coastal chic vibe. They had live music in the lobby both nights we were there.
The room itself was spacious and beautifully decorated. The velvet pink headboard, navy dresser, pink desk with touches of modern white accents really wow you when you walk in. The bathroom had ample counter space and there was even a little sitting area in the room that was perfect for all of Colton’s toys. It was like he had his own little playroom.
I was really impressed with the pool area design and function as well. It was picture perfect with a palm tree-lined pool, tons of outdoor seating, lounge chairs in the pool, and an indoor-outdoor bar where drinks and food could easily flow from either side.
We ate at the hotel for breakfast and dinner and it was some of the best food we had while in Mount Pleasant. Eliza’s bar + kitchen works with area farmers and purveyors, incorporating local seafood, vegetables, dairy, honey, and other ingredients into the menus at the upscale hotel’s restaurant, room service, and catering.  Led by Chef Mark Scheffsky, with over 20 years in culinary experience. Eliza’s is legit. I would highly recommend eating at the hotel. Mike and I ate fish tacos, lobster mac & cheese, seared tuna with mango ketchup, spring rolls, and I had a delicious brownie à la mode for dessert. They have a creative cocktail menu as well as a full drink list. I would definitely give the food five stars. Their breakfast selection is just as good. I had chicken and waffles and Michael had Eliza’s Benedict which is eggs Benedict with a fried green tomato on a crabcake. So good.
There is a shopping area in the lobby for snacks and wine if you get hungry or need a drink. There is also complimentary Wi-Fi tons of outlets and DIRECTV for all of your entertainment needs. Plus they are pet-friendly!
