The Ultimate Miami City Guide!

Miami is one of my favorite cities to visit. There is always something going on but it’s also super easy to just sit back and relax if you need some R&R. Great people, great weather, great vibes, great food, and great shopping make for a perfect getaway. I try to stay somewhere new every time I visit just because I like to #doitfortheblog right?! But it’s also fun to stay somewhere new and explore a different part of town.

Where To Stay

– The Sonesta (Coconut Grove / Coral Gables )

It’s right across the street from the Marina so you can walk to 3 different on the water fresh seafood restaurants that are close by. (Monty’s being my fave) It’s also walking distance to the Coconut Grove shopping center where there are a ton of bars, restaurants, shops, a movie theater, and nail salons. The Sonesta has a penthouse fitness center with amazing views and a rooftop pool with a hot tub.

– Eden Roc (Miami Beach)

There are 4 pools, cabanas with great food and frozen drinks, it’s right on the beach, golden elevator doors (it’s the little things), and the best room service menu ever! The extremely large and spacious rooms have a picture perfect view of the ocean that you can admire from your very own balcony.

– The Standard

The Standard is a totally different vibe. It’s located right in between Miami and South Beach on a little spot all it’s own. It’s an eco chic vibe with a restaurant and pool right on the water. The spa is a game changer here. I would highly recommend going, even if it’s just for the spa.

– Grand Beach Surfside (North Miami Beach)

The first thing you need to do when you get there is head to the rooftop pool. If you thought your room view was nice you’ll be blown away by the rooftop views. There is a lookout area, a pool, two hot tubs, cabanas, and a bar! The rooftop bar is the icing on the cake. If you need me, I’ll be there.

– The Shore Club (South Beach)

– The Raleigh (South Beach) like time traveling to the 1940s

– The Biltmore Coral Gables

Their pool is beyond. A must!

What To Do

There is so much to do in Miami! There are things for the first time vacationers and tourist, things to lay low and chill, things for party goers and so much more. You can head to the beach, walk up and down Ocean Dr for some shopping and people watching, take in the sights and architecture or rent a boat and head out on the water!
