I was lucky enough to go to the US Open in Atlanta sponsored by the Cheeses of Europe and I was in heaven! Who doesn’t love cheese? Oh yeah, and tennis! It’s the best of both worlds! I got to try so many great cheeses and find my favorites so I knew exactly what I wanted to do next! Throw a dinner party with the the best cheese spread ever! I’m a huge fan of goat cheese, brie, and gouda. By far my top 3. What are yours?
Need to brush up on your cheese knowledge before your next dinner party? Check out the Cheeses of Europe website or app (it’s free) for recipes, tips, store locators, and more information and more so you can’t go wrong!
Obviously choose your favorites and then pair with some fruits, bread, and nuts. Personally I like red pepper jelly and peach jelly to accompany the cheeses but the choices are yours!
- St Nectaire
- Pont l’Évêque
- Blue cheese
- Saucisson sec
- Dried Fruit: apricots, blueberries, cherries
- Sliced baguette
An hour before serving, remove the cheese from the fridge and arrange on a cheese board clockwise from mild to strong.
Remember to head to Cheeses of Europe to find the best cheeses for your next dinner party!
