Hi,
This is the most common advice heard from people in their final moments of life:
1. “I wish I had the courage to be true to myself. What good is all that life experience, all that pain, all those lessons if I can’t lay it on the line?”
2. “I wish I didn’t work so hard. I missed so much of my children’s youth and my partner’s companionship. And when I was with them, I wasn’t REALLY with them.”
3. “I wish I took more time for love…because in the end, heaven is gonna frisk me loose of all I got, except what’s in the suitcase of my heart…and it just doesn’t feel as full as it could be.”

I have been on the earth for a total of 2,086 weeks….and never, ever have I been as in LOVE with life as this past week.
This is the premise: out of the 1,440 minutes in each day, can you take just one minute to embrace another human being?
I took this experiment onto the streets of NYC to see if I could get a one minute hug from the world’s moodiest people. And the result shocked me.
Once you get past the steely shell, even New Yorkers want MORE LOVE!
On Monday, I announced the One Minute Hug Sweepstakes!
-I will pick a winner(s) from anywhere in the 50 states and show up at your house to give you a One Minute Hug. SWEAR TO GOD!
I have received hundreds of entries and have been completely FLOORED by your response! People from all 50 states, an entire Spin class, people who hug for fun, people who are sick and needing a hug to heal, even dads who claim “men can be huggers too.”
You told me how you made more time to stop and hug your kids, your partner, a co-worker, your friends, the people next to you in Spin class… and how that hug changed the mood of your entire day.
As goes the quote, “How you spend your days is how you spend your life.”
So today, whatever you are doing, wherever you are going, however busy you might be…
…is there anything more meaningful that you can do than take 1 minute to dedicate to love?
And by the way, who wants to be that person in the hospital bed saying “I wish, I wish, I wish…”
LIVE YOUR LIFE NOW. And start with a freakin awesome hug!
Have a great weekend!
