Martha Moments: A V-Day DIY for your bae and bum
Stumped for a V-Day gift or just like making one on your own instead of buying something from the store? I opted for some Day of The Week undies for boo thang. Inspiration from The Alison Show of course!
It’s seriously so easy and only $15 (depending on how many undies you decide to do). I did one for every day of the week! Couple of really funny things come to mind and my room mate and I had a blast yelling them out while I was making them. Might be too much for blog world though. wink
This doesn’t have to be a gift for your boo either. You can do this for a best friend with pics of y’all or N’Sync // Backstreet Boys // NKOTB. It would be great for your kids too!
Things you’ll need:
1. undies
2. iron // flat surface
3. iron on fabric transfer sheets for dark fabric $10 from Michaels. I prefer the dark ones so the entire picture comes through instead of the undie color.
+ (they always have 40% coupons so check the app for those)
4. a printer
5. fabric paint (optional)
Steps:
1. Select pictures to print and print following the directions on the iron on fabric transfer sheet
2. Decorate with fabric paint (optional)
I think my favorites are “Game Day”, “On a Tuesday”, and “Hump Day”! I even gave him a red pair that said, “I love you everyday” with our picture in the shape of a heart. hahaha I wish I had better names for Monday and Friday but next year!
