Man Bun’s: Yes or No?
Man buns hit the scene hard this year. Everywhere I looked there was a man bun or someone (cough cough my boyfriend) wanting to grow their hair out just for the sole purpose of a man bun. So far the trend has sucked in Jake Gyllenhaal, Leonardo DiCaprio and Harry Styles. But the top knot for men is not top notch.
What is a man bun you ask? Urban dictionary defines it as:
Man bun’s are so popular they’ve even transitioned to a style for women, which I LOVE! I’m sure you’ve seen the half down half up bun fashion + style bloggers such as Harrison from Gilty As Charged have mastered.
So I guess step 1 for mastering the man bun is to have hair… right? I mean, seems obvious enough. Besides the Biotin pills and other hair growth supplements you can take to get that mane long and strong strengthening and conditioning shampoo and conditioner is a must. I recommend getting a professional-grade hair rejuvenation treatment serum. I have a thing for companies in San Francisco (since I used to live there) and this one is a favorite. RevivHair™ Stimulating Serum with Redensyl, Stem Cells, Growth Factors & Peptides is a must for hair growth especially if you have thinning hair and even hair loss.
If you know me, you know I’m not one to turn down extensions and sometimes they can be damaging so using hair growth serums are a must for keeping my real hair long and strong!
step 2. rock a man bun or not….
I wasn’t a fan of the MB at first but they’ve grown on me…. a little. I know you’re a grown ass man that can do whatever you damn well please but for the sake of girlfriends, fiancees, and wives everywhere – just don’t!
What do y’all think? Love them or hate them? What are your tricks for long hair?
