Exploring Miami: The Broken Shaker at the Freehand Miami
I go to Miami …a lot! And I’m all about exploring new places and trying new things but there is something comforting about finding a regular spot, getting to know the locals, and making traditions!
That spot for me is The Broken Shaker at The Freehand Miami. It’s a hostel and restaurant/bar and has the best vibe in Miami if you’re not looking for the club scene and just want to chill. Outside seating, pool side, lights overhead, great drinks, amazing food, good crowd….
They have such a mix of guests that it’s always entertaining. The drinks are amazing! Ask for the coco puff old fashioned. Trust me. Some of the best drinks aren’t on the menu but they can make ANYTHING! And the food … omg don’t get me started. The double layer grilled cheese with bacon pepper jelly (yeah I said bacon pepper jelly… mind blown right?) It’s to die for. The tacos and the burger are legit too! I’ve tried it all. The menu is only a few items but they are all soooo good!
Needless to say… I’ll be back. This definitely makes my list of places to visit in Miami!
