The Best DIY Christmas Present For Your Friends and Neighbors

holiday gift set hot chocolate

I love the holidays and love love love giving other people gifts and presents.  Even complete strangers.  It makes me so happy! I’m not a huge DIY person, mainly because I suck at it.  Like….really bad! But, I’ve found the perfect gift you can do yourself.  It’s the perfect hot chocolate gift set! My favorite!  Personally I think these are so much better than the premade ones.

If you’re struggling for time I recommend Amazon.  Let’s be honest, it’s a madhouse out there.  I’ve witnessed so many car accidents lately and seen the fights break out online and it’s just not worth it.  Especially when Amazon is so quick and easy.  Especially if you have Amazon Prime. Hello next day delivery!

So here is what you need!

  1. Packs of your favorite hot chocolate.  I recommend Godiva, obvi.  This pack of 12 can cover 6-12 friends/neighbors.

2. Peppermint Spoons. Because they are super cute!  These come in 12 also!

3. Mini Marshmallow Hot Chocolate Stirrers. So perfect!

4. Your favorite mug of choice! Preferably a holiday one.

If you’re really awesome and you want to be the favorite.  I recommend getting this Christmas Vacation mug.  My fiancé flips over that movie and would love this!

Here are a few of my favorites…

Merry Christmas Ya Filthy Animal

Santa Heads

Or you can skip the mug and go for a holiday tumbler set. Bonus because these come in a 12 pack and are super cute for the holidays!

You can get all 3 for about $60 which breaks out to $5-$10/person + the cost of the mug! So great right!  If you want to get fancy with it you can add a mug topper or special ornament to the gift set. William Sonoma has these super adorable gingerbread house mug toppers and Anthro has snowflake mug toppers!  The disco ball ornaments above are from CB2.

Just put 1 of each item in the coffee mug or tumbler of your choice and voila! You can wrap with clear plastic wrap if you want but it’s not a must.  I’d just put it in a small gift bag with a nice hand written note.

Happy Holidays! Enjoy spreading the love to all your friends, teachers, neighbors and anyone that needs it!
