How to set up a coffee + tea bar

If you follow us on Instagram, you know we were in NYC a few weekends ago and had an amazing girls night at The Plaza. It was absolutely freeeezing in NYC and staying warm was a must. When we woke up from our girls night, I set up the cutest little coffee and tea bar for breakfast and brunch.

“You must always serve your guests a customary hot beverage” – Sheldon Cooper

When setting up a coffee and tea bar, make sure to have variety and something everyone will love. I love to set out my favorite Tate+Lyle® Gourmet Beverage Syrups to add flavor to my hot beverage. As Sheldon, from the Big Bang Theory says, you always offer someone a customary hot beverage when they’re over.

To keep it interesting, have a few different syrups out so everyone can flavor their drink how they like it. Plus, I like to try different flavors for every new drink I make. I set out Hazelnut Pure Cane Syrup, Caramel Pure Cane Syrup, Vanilla Pure Cane Syrup, and the Zero Calorie Vanilla Syrup.  These make it so easy to enjoy cafe style hot beverages at home!  I love that they are pure cane sugar and the true actual flavor.

My favorite hot beverage recipe is a wellness tea bag of your choice.  It’s my favorite detox for cold season.  1 cup hot water mixed with 1 teaspoon of Vanilla Pure Cane Syrup and garnished with a  lemon wedge.

Make sure to have breakfast finger foods and snacks out for your brunch.  Croissants pair perfectly with tea, and macaroons are great with coffee!  Just remember to feed your guests.

I got a cold from the freezing NYC temperatures so I’ve been chugging tea with my favorite Vanilla Pure Cane Syrup all week. I hope everyone is staying warm!
