While the adults are away the puppies will play + free DogVacay Daycare

If you’ve been following me on instagram or our VerbalGoldBlog insta you know that I’ve been in Miami for work this week. (blog post coming soon) 5 whole days away from my Hartley Bear and I miss her so so much! But while the adults are away the puppy doggies will play! Right? Right! So why shouldn’t your pup go on a doggy vacay too? Trust me … they will LOVE it!

Lucky for you… now they can! DogVacay is an online community that connects dog owners with over 20,000 vetted and insured pet sitters across the US & Canada, ready to care for your pup in their home or yours—and love him like a member of the family while you’re gone! Pretty sweet if they don’t want to go on a vacay they can keep the stress and anxiety down by staying in their own home! All reservations include vet insurance, 24/7 customer support, and daily photo updated of your pooch enjoying his vacay. You can finally travel with peace of mind, at prices half the price of the local kennel. DogVacay has been featured in the Wall Street Journal, the NY Times, Forbes and The Today Show!

So now you’re wondering …. how does DogVacay Daycare work?  I put together these simple steps to help you out!
       1. Go to www.dogvacay.com and type in your zip code to find a PAWesome sitter in your neighborhood (see what I did there?)
2. Schedule a meet ‘n greet to meet your Host, then book your pup’s vacay or daycare and pay online
3. Receive photo “pup”dates showing how much fun your pup is having!

The average cost is just $20 a day and each daycare visit includes:
  • A no-commitment meet & greet
  • 24/7 emergency support
  • $25,000 of vet insurance
  • Daily photo (p)updates

Being a newbie to this my first question when I talked to DogVacay Daycare was why daycare? And they said:
  • DogVacay Daycare is the best way to make sure your pup is cared for while you’re at work, school, or away from home during the day. Just like our overnight boarding, our sitters will watch your dog in their home or yours while you’re gone.
  • 85% of dogs show some kind of anxious reaction when left alone (Channel 4 study, BBC)
  • Often, signs such as howling, chewing, destruction and digging don’t begin until after your dog has been alone for about 5-35 minutes
  • Your pup could be experiencing separation anxiety without you even knowing it
  • Daycare also provides great benefits like exercise, less separation anxiety, and socialization with other pups, which is great for puppies or newly adopted dogs

For me, just knowing Hartley is taken care of by a responsible pet sitter and enjoying her happy little self with the company of others makes me so so happy!  (I love that I even get to see her cute little face via photo (p)updates!  And while she’s having fun it’s allowing me to relax knowing she’s taken care of!  I would highly recommend it!  Check out DogVacay Daycare here for more information!
