Micheal lost no time and set down to creating a Healthy Meal with the Help of Daphne Oz, Mario Batali, Clinton Kelly, Carla Hall and Gordon Elliott – the Executive Producer of The Chew! You can watch the Master Chefs create the Wonderful Salmon with Kale Salad and Grapefruit Vinaigrette on the official website of Dr. Oz – Part 1 and Part 2.
Recipe:
Pat Salmon dry.
Heat Olive Oil in a Sauté Pan. Season dry Salmon with Pepper and Salt.
Put the Salmon in the Sauté Pan, Skin side down. Cook it till Medium rare.
Juice 1/2 a Grapefruit and pour a bit over Kale with some Olive Oil. Add a few slices of Grapefruit to Kale.
Add a bit of Plain Water to the Sauté Pan and cover it with a Lid. The Steam will impart tenderness to the Fish!
Whisk Healthy Greek Yogurt + Grapefruit Juice + Parsley + Olive Oil in a Bowl.
Pour your Yogurt Sauce in a Plate and place the Cooked Salmon over it. Serve with the Kale + Grapefruit Salad!
I’m not really a fan of grapefruit but this was amazing!! I think it’d also be really good with lemon and/or an orange. Not to mention so healthy for you! I’ve never tried Kale before and it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be! Nom Nom Nom!
Let me know what y’all think!
